flying
or stuck
this gilded cage of mine..
breathing or suffocating
the walls are closing in..
lost myself along the way
do I have to stay..
everything I ever knew
came from you..
I feel the air beneath my feet
rattling my bones
breaking it down
building it up
I see the door
the way out..
listen to my shout
flutter your wings
let’s change the scene..
