cut the ties..

what will be remembered..
the laughs 
the hurts 
the tender moments that bind..
as I wind this road 
what will I find..
Suspended in time 
I am reminded
all goodbyes ache to the core..
within the pain love remains 
memories bring it all to life 
and my heart soars..
it isn’t the good
or the bad that sums us up
it is the all we had 
that sets us aside.. 
for that I won’t be sad
rather striving to live in the glad 
as the ties slowly slip away..

If a shooting star could talk 
that’s what it’s like..
an explosion of her heart
falling in love..
untouchable- yet on display for all to see..
moments making 
memories 
cascading into dreams 
lighting up her insides 
bursting at the seams..
eternity starting and ending there..
she melds into the moments
so real - seen or unseen 
her entire being giving way to life and all that it would be..
