shooting stars..

so far away 
yet so close
never quite sure what I miss most..
all of you I suppose 
wrapping my mind heart and soul
being lost in you was not a goal.. 
the stars aligned as if it was foretold 
there would be no decision on my part to make 
heart was shaken
jolted awake..
alive revived
I walk through this world..
enlightened emboldened 
I open the door
leaving everything on the floor 
heart is full
and yet again 
you always leave me wanting more..
