hearts connecting in the quiet
space can’t erase what one knows.. 
feelings pounding
against the chest 
Slamming..
can you feel it 
can you hear it
after all this time..
Or are you trapped in your mind
moments keeping you stuck..
I’ll take reason over choice 
mistakes crumbling 
losing their power
in the bewitching hour.. 
no promises to keep 
wisdom keeping me on my feet..
