there’s beauty in explosions 
as the remnants spiral about 
lighting up glimpses of us in the fallout..
my heart hits the ground 
and 
the energy that bound us 
is out of this realm..
Unique - all its’ own 
a life force unknown..
it won’t be contained 
once let out 
nothing remains..
a love is spiritually awakened 
nuclear in its’ quest 
causing such unrest..
radioactive ashes cascading about 
setting my heart ablaze..
the intensity inflecting changes that 
will follow me from hours to years..
this outburst sends shock waves 
pulsating against my skin 
with a magnitude that sears and shapes the core of my soul..

when we choose to hold on
step into the now
leave the past in your wake..

let’s practice truth
no distractions pulling our roots.. 
solid ground is where we’ll be found 
reason with me

a new season is coming

the wound is poison

lingering on
black clouds shadowing me 
Insidious hands boxing me in
falling apart 
broken
truths that shatter my heart..
bruised skin 
battered mind
you won’t win
standing at the edge of the abyss
it’s you I miss..
Bittersweet 
I feel you 
I hear you 
I taste you..
starting to live again 
there you are 
in the middle of the day 
in the middle of the night 
letting me know it’ll be alright..
